Yoga
Coming in 2026!

A Future in Wellness
Elektra Flora plans to incorporate yoga into her offerings. A practicing yogi for over 15 years it is imperative to the foundation of the art's mission as it ties in the mind, body, && spirit.
EF's background in yoga began in 2010 while studying engineering at Cal Poly Pomona and enrolled in a meditation class to help balance the stressful workload. After the class was successfully completed her professor recommended yoga and from there became dedicated to Bikram for several years. Around 2014 during the fall of Bikram's reputation, she decided to explore other yoga styles like vinyasa, hatha, power, and yin. In 2020 when the pandemic hit and social distancing was required, she took her practice solo. This was a big transition from a social studio lifestyle to solo yogi, but in the end was a positive experience. Being able to connect to self had brought her closer to spirituality.
EF completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT-200) in Bali, Indonesia March 2025. Blog article about my experience is still in que! Plans are to formulate an online yoga community to be launched during the 2026 Lunar New Year! Please stay tuned and sign up for updates below with green contact button.
What kind of yoga do I hope to teach?
I prefer hatha, hatha-vinyasa, or yin style yoga. I like hatha because I prefer to hold pose a little bit longer so I can go into it deeper versus more movement and flow in vinyasa. However, Hatha-Vinyasa appeals to me because I can create a mostly hatha class, but include the sun salutations which I do love the ritualistic nature of both sequence A&B. Although I do tend to cry (Pisces moon...), I like yin. It helps me process emotion and past traumas. It can be challenging more emotionally than physically, but it can feel extremely cathartic. I also favor a long meditation/savasana && incorporating the senses like aroma therapy, hands-on assistance, and calming sounds.
What's one thing that surprised me from my YTT-200?
That yoga is an art! I love that I can be creative with my theme, asanas, and sequencing. I get to let my inner child play while also getting to be a teacher.
